About The Ap Mahesh Cooperative Urban Bank Limited
The A P Mahesh Co-operative Urban Bank Ltd. popularly known as Mahesh Bank was registered as a primary co-operative society in 1977 and commenced its operations in 1978. Thereafter, the bank was given the ‘Scheduled Status’ by the RBI in 1996. It was the first co-operative bank to be given this status and the first ever multi-state co-operative bank under the multi-state Co-operative Societies Act, 1984 in 2001 to achieve this position in South India.
